A few years ago, I had a sobering realization: Aside from my husband, I didn’t really have anyone I could lean on emotionally. No inner circle. No village. No one I felt safe calling when life felt too heavy. And for someone who’s great at showing up for everyone else? That hit hard. I was in deep Superwoman Syndrome—doing all the things for everyone, keeping everything running, making it all look okay… … but behind the scenes? I was lonely, depleted, and unsupported. It took me a few years of intentional effort to change that. I had to get used to the idea of being uncomfortable meeting new people, showing up 100% as myself (aka dropping the ‘I’ve got it all together' armor I’m really good at wearing), and figuring out how to make real friendships as an adult. And it changed everything. I talk more about this in this week’s podcast episode, just released today: 🎧 Why You Need to Build Your Village (and Stop Trying to Be Superwoman)
Here’s the truth, Reader: Women are drowning in invisible labor and emotional mental load. And when we don’t have real support, we burn out - fast. That’s why The CEO Collective isn’t just about strategy (though we’ve got plenty of that). It’s about building a real support system for your business and your life. ✅ Weekly accountability to help you stick to your plan, upgrade your systems, and let yourself be fully supported. ✅ A community of women who truly get the weight of all that you’re carrying and will never tell you to ‘suck it up buttercup’ when you really need a compassionate shoulder to lean on. ✅ Strategic guidance from a team of mentors who know exactly what you're working towards and will help you stay grounded when life gets hard. ✅The reminder: we aren’t meant to do life or business alone. You’re always the one holding everything together. Let us hold you for a change.
